Never EVER question God’s plan

By
Once upon a time not too long ago, I was born amongst poverty but motivated by a dream. My ambition was strong and all the while I was following God’s path - I could never go wrong. I took a road less travelled and I got a few scraps but the journey was all worth it just to achieve that dream.  Mama told me I would make it but some fools just laughed but I remember how the bible say, ‘the first shall be last’. Even though everyone skipped over me, i ignored all the haters and perfected my craft. I hold no grudge I just forgave and forgot. If you want to see a miracle, well here I am. Word of advice; Never EVER question God’s plan. I started down at the very bottom but hard work patience and skills I’ve got them. Never let another person ruin your dreams even when you’re at your lowest it ain’t bad as it seems instead of slamming around the house crying woe is me, thank God for what you have got and go get back on your feet. And if my life could just rewind….

By
Without no money, no one can buy your company. Without money you alone can’t face your life story.  I couldn’t buy cornflakes; on those wet early mornings when I woke up I ate white ants and walked bare feet since I could not afford slippers. All that did not mind for me since I had a dream that I was going to achieve one way or another and cut like scissors before my soul care giver could leave me. I got a dream last night, saying am going to be large than life, I had to get convincing since I saw life as a strife and everybody who is in love is looking at love as their icon. No one taught me to make money or anything, life is all bring and everybody looked different to me. If my life could just rewind, like a piece of thread I would feel happy with the little things I had and the simple life I lived. I would respect greenwich in the meantime but now I cannot change you, you’re my life line since am sharp like knife and you should peel fine.

Humans. Human beings. My fellow beings. You can call me what you want; black and ugly but you can’t convince me that the lord don’t love me. At the end of the day more often than not am contented with the work of my hands, the hands that the Lord has allowed me to use. Still, someone somewhere has a problem with that. You call me lucky, why can’t it just be that am blessed? I have a date with my future as such am a track star running through life chasing my dreams. I zone off sometimes thinking what heaven is and what is hell; if so what happens to a changed man and woman who die in their cells in Uganda’s Luzira and Kenya’s Kamiti? I need no answers to these questions because time will tell since I have a date with my destiny, she is my virtual girl-friend, and she’s more than a girl. Don’t much good come from me but my work it’s a gift given from God, so ama’ use it. I put a message in my handy work and verbs hope it brightens your day, if times are hard when you read it, s...
