Supporting Youth on Social Action

Lord please STOP the rain

Lord make me a light so I shine down on my kind, I know am safe with you if I help where I was helped. Her life ain’t what I thought it ought to have been; she is barely 30 but she buries her baby, she can’t even talk but she is already an adult, she had a lot to live for but the society killed him and she tries to walk on the straight and narrow but trouble follows him. All of us are passers-by and for sure the corpse can’t wash itself however rich the owner of the soul – before death - was high and influential in the social standing. It’s the wrong time, we call the religious people holy but they truly are vampires baying for the poor man’s blood. The poor man who prays daily for God to open up a way for him. He has gone through much with trials of all sorts and that’s why he does not twitch when people say he is carrying more than he should. Other friends are not honest they think th…

Success is an Unfaithful girl to me!

I am searching for success, she keeps eluding me. If only we can be together momentarily, we can make history. Why won’t you visit me? I swear I met success and but never lived together not for a day. She is good for the touch, she is good for the moment but she is never enough. Everybody has had her but me. Something tells me there is much more to …

I took a road less travelled and I got a few scraps but the journey was all worth it just to achieve that dream.  Mama told me I would make it but some fools just laughed but I remember how the bible say, ‘the first shall be last’. Even though everyone skipped over me, i ignored all the haters and perfected my craft. I hold no grudge I just forgave and forgot.
If you want to see a miracle, well here I am. Word of advice; Never EVER question God’s plan. I started down at the very bottom but hard work patience and skills I’ve got them. Never let another person ruin your dreams even when you’re at your lowest it ain’t bad as it seems instead of slamming around the house crying woe is me, thank God for what you have got and go get back on your feet.

Open up your eyes and take a good long look, coz the definitio…
