The people that know their God, have a relationship with their God. You will be surprised of the huge number of people who go to church every Sunday and are not settled in their relationship with God. They love the idea of God but not necessarily the reality of God; they have unresolved issues with God. Many people clap and sing and shout and are not remotely convinced that God even loves them. What have we learnt from a 15,000 Euro Youth project support by the International Secretariat?

Since joining Busiki LRP, I have heard the Youth being christened all sorts of names. The one I hear most is, “the youth are the most disoriented and most tasking lot to work with”. Well, the Youth themselves vehemently disagree and usually give truck-loads of reasons for this, in their defense. There’s an adage that says, “ Never judge a book by its cover” . Young people who are jobless, sidelined, have no opportunities, are not integrated into community issues fully and have no foundational skills are a liability and a high risk to a Country. Any Country! Whilst still working on its baby steps in relation to Youth, Busiki LRP received 15,000 Euros to implement a Youth Project that focused on supported Youth to develop skills for economic self-reliance beyond formal employment. What has been said of me is true. I offer no arguments nor dispute to the simple facts, but they hardly begin to cover the scope of my true crimes. Honor requires more than admition, so I offer a full confession and the whole truth. For far too long I have failed to recognize my own hypocrisy, I ignored my own cowardice conveniently hiding behind a position of political compromise, and for what? To retain the meager wealth and rank than men desire. So I come before you a condemned man for having finally stood up to injustice. My shame and regret is that I failed to do so before it arrived in my own court. We supply the armies, we build the roads, and we employ the nation. Though overdue, today fall down on my knees and repent to you my God, my family and society. I have committed many wrongs and many more evils by my position, the position that the society entrusted in me. Forgive me! I have wronged the society calling myself a human-god, called myself a prophet. Almighty God, kindly remember my soul, I am now on my knees I promise to obey you. Youth Led Programming – A Sustainable Approach

Young people who are jobless, sidelined, have no opportunities, are not integrated into community issues fully and have no foundational skills are a liability and a high risk to a country – any Country. Young people need to develop skills for economic self-reliance beyond formal employment. They need skills in leadership, communication and most importantly, constitutionalism.
